Q: Do I need the Striker Reset Spring with my M*CARBO Titanium Performance Striker?
A: No, you do not.
Striker Reset Spring Discontinued
The striker reset spring was discontinued in 2021 after the first series of P365 OEM MiM Strikers started to see issues with primer drag. Primer drag is caused by reduced strength in the recoil spring due to either wear or debris. The striker will spring forward to strike the primer of a cartridge and may remain slightly forward which can then be embedded in the primer. The primer will look like the picture below:
How to tell if I have a Striker Reset Spring with my P365 :
If your striker assembly system looks like the picture below, you will need a striker reset spring with your P365. If you are experiencing primer drag and you have the discontinued Striker Reset Spring, we recommend you upgrade to the MCARBO P365 Titanium Performance Striker to eliminate primer drag.
